ReplyDeleteIt depends buddy, what your criteria of loving and memorizing someone, I like this and it's lyrics are just amazing. It really hurt when you listen this song remembering someone who was very close to you, and then you'll feel the exact feeling, Dil ko choo lene wali feeling.
ReplyDeleteWe have a saying in Hindi "Maano to Shaligram, nahin to pat_thar." That's the story with songs. They are all just idle words, until it happens to you.
ReplyDeleteMost love songs would sound to you like just so much crap, until you fall in love yourself - and then each song makes so much sense that it touches you right in your heart.
Just the simple word "yaad" which is used to commonly in Hindi songs, (like this one also) may remind someone of trying to memorize history lessons. But only he who has loved deep and lost that love will be able to understand why the shaayar says,
"Yaad-e-maazi azaab hai yaarab, chheen le mujhse haafiza mera."
